Contribo is a highly potent traditional bitter herb respected for its powerful healing properties. It is valued for its anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and analgesic qualities, making it useful in supporting the body through pain, infection, and inflammation.
Traditionally, Contribo has been used to aid in wound healing, blood purification, appetite stimulation, and diaphoresis (sweating), which helps the body flush out toxins and restore balance.
Because of its strength, Contribo is taken only in small amounts to stimulate the body, cleanse the system, and support overall wellness. Used sparingly, it remains a trusted herb for restoring vitality and resilience, especially during times when the body needs renewal
How to Prepare your Loose Root Herbs
Use ½ teaspoon or less of Contribo in 2–3 cups of water, bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes and strain. Sweeten with pure agave syrup from cactus if desired. Take up to twice a day, but limit to 2–3 times per week for safe and effective use. For best results, allow the herbs to steep for 15–20 minutes before drinking the longer the steep, the stronger the tea. The brewed tea can be stored for up to one week in an airtight mason jar in the refrigerator. Add Vitamin C is essential – Adding key lime or another Vitamin C source like sour oranges after steeping helps your body actually absorb the iron from these herbs.
